The Expanded Vaccination Program (EPI) has been operational throughout Cameroon since 1982. Since 1993, vaccination services have been integrated into the Minimum Activity Package (PMA) of the country's health facilities. The EPI offers free vaccines for children, adolescents and women. These vaccines protect against at least 14 preventable diseases, namely:

During childhood, infectious diseases are numerous, especially in autumn and winter. They are manifested by fever, cold, cough, diarrhea, vomiting or pimples that disappear quickly. Nobody offers to vaccinate against these minor diseases!
